BassDrumBone are celebrating their 25th anniversary with this fantastic live
set from the BIMhuis in Amsterdam in September of 1997. This all-star trombone-contrabass-drums
& percussion trio each contribute compositions which navigate between a
variety of genres and landscapes - bits of the blues, swing, free and fractured
are all a part of their natural blend. This is a most flexible and inventive
trio who often switch roles and do sound like they have been playing together
for a quarter century.
